Akon Catching Heat For Defending Kanye West

December 04, 2022

Akon recently said Ye has the right to say what he wants in an interview with Sky News...he may now be regretting that.

Once the interview was released, the public wasn't too happy with him defending Ye.

Akon defending Kanye by calling his antisemitic comments a matter of opinion and saying that Jews shouldn’t take his comments personally until we understand the situation. I’m horrified and speechless pic.twitter.com/ifBdGxtqKR

Akon immediately took to Twitter to clarify his comments, and that he does not support Kanye's comments on Jewish people.

I clearly do not agree with Kanye’s remarksI about Hitler. I am simply saying that everyone should have the right to their own opinion. Doesn’t mean we will always agree pic.twitter.com/znCunyCIb0
