Boosie Badazz has gone off on Birdman’s brother Terrance Williams after he accused him of being a snitch over a TV interview.
The interview Williams was referring to was conducted in 2017 shortly after Boosie — who went by Lil Boosie then — accused the Biloxi police department of stealing over $1 million dollars of his jewelry following an incident at the Edgewater Mall in Mississippi.
While police denied any thievery, the jewelry was eventually “found” and returned to Boosie after the Baton Rouge native threatened legal action.
The “Wipe Me Down” rapper had gotten a phone call from Biloxi police shortly after he was interviewed about the situation with NewsOne Now, and hopped back on camera to express his exasperation.
“They said nothing was recovered out the van, no valuables or nothing, now my sack is at the police station with all my jewelry in there and they’re telling me to come and get it,” Boosie said.
The reporter then asked Boosie if he’d still pursue legal action against the Biloxi police department, to which he replied: “We’re sending private investigators down there to build our case. This is a criminal case and a civil case, so this is only the beginning man.”
Williams then questioned on Instagram whether Boosie should get a pass despite giving statements on criminal cases on live television.
“I understand the civil case, but do real street Steppas get a pass when they give statements on criminal cases?” he wrote. “Is this the only time they can get on the stand and it will be okay sending someone to jail?”
