Boosie Supports Dave Chappelle Shutting Down Low Income Housing: 'You Don't Want Drama Where You Lay Your Head'

VladTV invited Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz to discuss Dave Chapelle and his alleged role in halting a low income housing plan in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

In February, the veteran comedian raised alarms when video surfaced of him attending a village council meeting to voice his displeasure with a planned development. In the clip, he threatened to remove his business investments, which included plans for a restaurant and comedy club.

However, Chappelle’s spokesperson, Carla Sims, later stated Chappelle didn’t reject the affordable housing project to deny anyone housing but because the idea was poorly constructed.

“Dave Chappelle didn’t kill affordable housing,” Sims told ABC News. “Concerned residents and a responding Village Council ‘killed’ a half-baked plan which never actually offered affordable housing.”
