Chris Brown Addresses Michael Jackson Comp

June 20, 2022

Last week, there were all sorts of comparisons on Twitter between the career and talents of Michael Jackson and Chris Brown.

Some of Breezy's more fervent Stans suggested their man was at least The King Of Pop's equal.

Whereas others pushed back on speaking Brown and Jackson in the same breath.

Brown addressed the comparative chatter on Big Boy.

To those continuing to say that Chris is better than Michael Jackson. Hear the words, from the man himself. He stays humble & keeps it ????. There would be no Chris Brown without Michael Jackson. Put RESPECT on Mikes name!!! #ChrisBrown #MichaelJackson #BigBoyTV pic.twitter.com/jUKINWGhNR

"That's cap," he said of those who would say he's better than MJ.

He added that he doesn't get into the debate because there is no point.

"I stay the hell out of it.  I kinda back off of it.  My personal take is like I wouldn't even be breathing or even singing a song if that man didn't exist.  I don't know if they look it like a Jordan Kobe sort of thing.  But I can't look it at.  He's light years ahead.  There is no competing with him.  I got shrines of this man hanging up in my house."
