Danny Brown Debuts First 2 Episodes Of New Podcast

Danny Brown has officially entered the podcast game. After announcing his new show earlier in May, the charismatic Detroit rapper dropped the first two episodes of The Danny Brown Show on the official YMH Studio YouTube channel. Founded by comedy couple Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky, the channel also houses other hit shows like Your Mom’s House, 2 Bears 1 Cave and Dr. Drew After Dark. Both of Danny Brown’s episodes have so far accumulated over 50,000 views.

The two episodes are hilarious as DB discusses topics like dating, Met Gala outfits and more. New Danny Brown content also hints that a follow-up to 2019’s Uknowhatimsayin? could be coming sooner than fans think. In an interview with HNHH, Danny Brown spoke about the new project, tentatively titled Quaranta, which he said will be a large body of work that focuses on the last decade of his life.

“It’s just pretty much like an update of what I’ve been going through the last ten years after XXX,” he said. “That’s pretty much what it is.” When asked to comment on the project’s production, he confirmed The Alchemist will appear on the project.

He also previously said in a 2017 interview with Zane Lowe that he listens to podcasts far more than music these days.

“I don’t even listen to rap music anymore at this point,” he said. “Like, an album come out I’ll listen to it and I’ll like it, but… podcasts. It’s the future.”
