Future has let his devoted fans know he’s back in the lab and on a different type of time amid all the hype surrounding the release of a new album.
On Wednesday (February 8), the Atlanta, Georgia, native took to Twitter to get some things off his chest. “Some people dnt appreciate u when u humble,” he wrote.
Hendrix followed that up with two other tweets teasing another musical takeover in 2023, although this time he says “moving different.”
“Moving different all 2023,” he added. “I’m in album mode.”
Future’s tweets come just weeks after he hinted that a joint album with Metro Boomin will drop sometime this year. Pluto shared the news on his Instagram Stories last month with a post from another IG account claiming the pair are prepping a joint project.
It’s unclear if this is the record that Future is in “album mode” for, but signs seem to point in that direction. Metro Boomin added fuel to the fire during a recent interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden when he explained the two decided to lock in for a full project as opposed to just a handful of songs.
“I was like, ‘Look, the last time anybody’s really heard a song from me and you was ‘Mask Off,’” Metro recalled of his conversation with his “Mask Off” collaborator. “So instead of us randomly throwing one or two songs we did on here, we got to wait and just give them a joint.’”
