Kanye West & Kim Kardashian’s Divorce Settlement: Ye To Pay $200K A Month In Child Support

It looks like Kimye is officially over after the two filed for divorce in 2021. Kanye West is now ordered to pay $200k a month in child support for the kids he shares with TV personality Kim Kardashian.

Kanye West has been ordered to pay $200k for the four kids he shares with his now–ex-wife Kim Kardashian, who reached billionaire status last year according to Forbes.

The divorce settlement also grants both parents joint custody with “equal access” to their children. In addition, Ye is also responsible for 50 percent of their children’s education and security expenses. 

The Irony Of Ye’s “Gold Digger” 



The news sparked some irony on the internet. The “Gold Digger” rapper now has to live what he raps about, hence having to transfer $200k into his baby mother’s account until his children are 18.

“I can’t believe Kanye West sang “gold digger” then got trapped and finessed,” said one user on Twitter.



The track was released in 2005 and became a hit song on his “Late Registration” album. 

“Kanye West’s Gold Digger aged HORRIBLY for him,” one Twitter user wrote.



Kim Kardashian Officially Files For Divorce From Kanye West



Reality TV star Kim Kardashian and Kanye West called it quits following weeks of breakup rumors. The reports revealed that the mother of four filed for divorce after nearly a decade together.

According to reports, the duo officially ended their marriage in after seven years. Additional details surfaced on the at first amicable split.

Kim is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s 4 kids. Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ Kanye is fine with the joint custody arrangement, and we’re told both Kim and Ye are committed to co-parenting together. There’s a prenup and we’re told neither party is contesting it. In fact, our sources say they are already far along in reaching a property settlement agreement. (TMZ)



According to a People magazine source, Yeezy struggled as things headed toward a legal split from Kim, who he has been married to since 2014.

“Kanye is not doing well. He is anxious and very sad. He knows that the marriage is over, and there’s nothing that can be done right now. He also knows what he is losing in Kim.” (PEOPLE)



In the days leading to the divorce, Kanye took out 500 pairs of sneakers from Kim K’s crib. He moved his items out of the Calabasas home while she vacationed in Turks and Caicos with family.

In January, Page Six exclusively revealed that divorce “is imminent” for the couple, and that they’re in settlement talks, according to a source.

The split between the rap renaissance man and the TV icon produced rumors that get crazier every day. One of the latest is that Kanye and Kim K. had actually been on the outs for more than a year before the public found out. People magazine reports that things fell apart for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s marriage well before the divorce news hit the headlines.

“Kim has become more independent and has lost patience with his antics, rants, the presidential campaign and tweets,” says the industry source, who adds that Kardashian — who is studying to become a lawyer — has plans that she wants to put into action. (People)
