Kanye West 2020 Presidential Campaign Claims Thousands Of Dollars Stolen In Fraud

Kanye West’s 2020 presidential campaign didn’t go as planned, as he only gained about 66,000 votes in various states across the country. According to TMZ, Kanye 2020 sent a letter to the Federal Election Commission on Tuesday (May 24) claiming that an unidentified individual stole approximately $3,999 to pay off their own credit card bills.

According to the letter TMZ got their hands on, a person got access to the Kanye 2020 bank account funds on three separate occasions between December 2021 and February 2022. The campaign was unable to retrieve the lost $3,999 from the First Bank of Wyoming.

The FEC ended up flagging the transactions and informed Kanye West’s camp of the activity, but they haven’t been able to identify the source of the fraud, as no arrest has been made yet either with the police’s involvement.

Even with the failed presidential bid, his confidence has not wavered and he’s still planning on running once again in the 2024 election, which he hinted at during his 2021 Drink Champs interview. 

“Just Ye 2024, let’s go,” he said to conclude the viral interview.

Kanye heavily invested in his presidential aspirations to the point he reportedly poured about $13 million of his own money into his 2020 campaign, according to the FEC.
