Produced by black-ish creator Kenya Barris, Entergalactic is set to follow “a young man going on a journey to discover love.” The animated series was originally set to arrive in 2020 after being announced in 2019, but was pushed back to 2022.

“Entergalactic will be something you’ve never experienced,” Kid Cudi wrote in July 2019. “I promise it’ll be a fun ride. Lot of good friends involved. Great songs too! The cast is coming together. I know a year from now seems like forever but itll be here before u know it!”

Kid Cudi previously took to Twitter on January 20 to tease the next phase of his career while referencing his Kids See Ghosts song “Reborn.”

“Magical things are happening in my life,” he said. “I can feel the Lords hand on my shoulder. If u’ve been watchin me my whole career, theres so much more to see. More than u can possibly imagine. #keepmovinforward. Remember these words. Im comin to fuck the world up in the most lovely ways.”
