Mystikal Faces New Disturbing Civil Lawsuit

Mystikal’s criminal case may be resolved, but a civil lawsuit continues as the woman involved details the disgusting and disturbing case.

The rapper remains embroiled in a civil lawsuit after receiving a 20-year prison sentence for rape, with the woman at the center of the case detailing allegations that include physical violence, humiliation and sexual assault inside the rapper’s Louisiana home.

According to court filings obtained by TMZ, the woman alleges she visited Mystikal’s residence in Prairieville, Louisiana, in July 2022. She claims the encounter began on friendly terms before taking a violent turn when the rapper emerged from a bathroom and accused her of stealing money.

Exactly what she seeks in this civil suit has not been determined. What is established is the horror she endured.

The woman alleges Mystikal, whose legal name is Michael Tyler, struck her in the face with a closed fist and choked her to the point that she nearly lost consciousness. According to the lawsuit, she suffered bruises, scrapes, a laceration, missing hair and a broken fingernail during the incident.

She further claims the rapper repeatedly accused her of theft and forced her to remove her clothing. The lawsuit alleges Mystikal spit in her face, poured rubbing alcohol on her and threatened her while swinging a pair of scissors.

One of the more disturbing allegations in the civil complaint centers on a prayer session the woman says Mystikal demanded before the alleged sexual assault. According to the filing, she claims he instructed her to kneel beside his bed, where the two prayed together for several minutes.

The woman alleges Mystikal later apologized before placing his head on her chest. She claims the interaction quickly escalated when he bent her over the bedside and sexually assaulted her. According to the lawsuit, she was too frightened to resist and alleges he raped her both vaginally and anally. She further claims he told her he had not used protection.

The civil lawsuit also alleges Mystikal forced her to search the home for the missing money and required her to send him $150 through Cash App.

The woman says the alleged attack left her with physical injuries, emotional distress and lost wages after she was forced to take time away from work. She is seeking damages through the ongoing civil action.

The civil case continues as Mystikal serves a prison sentence stemming from the same incident. Earlier this year, the veteran New Orleans rapper pleaded guilty to third-degree rape in his criminal case and was sentenced to 20 years behind bars.
