Offset has denied the rumors that he and Quavo got into a brief fight right before TakeOff’s tribute at the 65th annual Grammy Awards.
On Monday (February 6), the former Migos member took to Twitter to dispel the rumors and call cap on all the alleged drama surrounding the tribute that took place at the Crypto.com arena on Sunday night (February 5).
“What tf look like fighting my brother yal niggas is crazy,” Offset tweeted.
The tweet arrived shortly after TMZ reported Quavo and Offset were reportedly involved in a physical altercation backstage at the 2023 Grammy Awards over a dispute involving TakeOff’s tribute performance.

February 6, 2023 According to
TMZ, the Migos groupmates brawled backstage after Quavo refused to let Offset share the stage with him for his performance of “Without You” during the ceremony’s “In Memorium” segment.
The Recording Academy reportedly asked Offset to join Quavo on stage for the performance, but Huncho blocked the idea, and the bad blood boiled over into a backstage melee that Quavo reportedly started.
The former Migos frontman was joined by the Maverick City Music choir as he delivered an
emotional rendition of “Without You,” which he released in January, roughly two months after TakeOff’s death. TakeOff was
shot and killed outside a bowling alley in Houston, Texas on November 1. Cardi B recently shared how Offset received the news of Take’s passing during the inaugural episode of
Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee’s new eponymous podcast. According to Cardi,
the couple was in bed when they got the chilling call.
“We were in bed. We were supposed to go to LaLa [Anthony] ‘s party in New York, and my daughter threw up all over my costume,” she said during the almost 90-minute episode. “Halloween was over ’cause it was just so much throw-up on the costume, and I ain’t have nothing to wear.”
She added: “So we just fell asleep, and out of nowhere, Offset’s phone kept ringing, my phone kept ringing. Offset picked up the phone and he was just like, ‘No!’ He’s screaming and screaming. He’s screaming like, ‘No! No! No! No!'”
