The murder suspects of PnB Rock have been identified with one arrested and his father (pictured) still at large.
TMZ reports that the Los Angles Police Department has apprehended a 17-year-old male as the shooter in the murder of PnB Rock on Tuesday morning (Sep. 28) near Gardena in Los Angeles.
His father, Freddie Lee Trone, who LAPD believe was the getaway driver, was identified hours before his son was taken into custody, is still on the loose and described “being involved” and “armed and dangerous.” Sources say Trone was a longtime member of a South Los Angeles street gang.
According to LAPD, the father and son duo burned the getaway vehicle following the deadly robbery. Investigators also reveals that they were both in parking lot of Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles prior to the rapper’s arrival, which seemingly eliminates the possibility that PnB was targeted from a geotag on social media story that PnB Rock’s girlfriend posted moments before the fatal incident.
On the afternoon of September 12, PnB Rock was fatally shot during a robbery attempt while he was dining with his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang at the Roscoe Chicken & Waffles in Los Angeles. He was 30 years old.
