September 14, 2022

Earlier this week, BET announced their nominees for their 2022 Hip Hop awards.

The lyricist of the year noms were Baby Keem, Benny The Butcher, Drake, J. Cole, Jack Harlow, JAY-Z, and Kendrick Lamar.

Questions surrounding the actual lyric ability of Jack Harlow, Drake, and Baby Keem were abound on Twitter.

But Harlow was the one who caught the most flack.  Check some of the reaction.

BET really made a lyricist of the year list and put Jack Harlow and Baby Keem over Black Thought, Lupe Fiasco, Joey Bada$$, Denzel Curry, Billy Woods, Boldy James, Conway the Machine, Pusha T, Lloyd Banks, JID, Roc Marciano, etc, etc… pic.twitter.com/4TVVkMhZCG
