Young Guru has let everyone know he does not have access to any tickets for Beyoncé‘s upcoming Renaissance tour amid fan outrage over high prices.

JAY-Z‘s longtime engineer took to his Instagram Story on Wednesday (February 1) with a public service announcement regarding tickets for Bey’s highly anticipated tour. According to Guru, even though he’s JAY-Z’s engineer and friend, he doesn’t have access to tickets for the tour.

“LISTEN I WORK FOR JAYZ,” Guru wrote. “I DO NOT HAVE BEYONCE TICKETS!!!!”

People will be doing whatever they can to get their hands on tickets to Beyoncé’s tour, especially when the price range has them worried it’ll be tough to get access. According to VividSeats, tickets will go for a minimum of $500, and that price will go up as the tour gets closer.

Several Beyoncé fans jumped on Twitter to leave their two cents on the insane prices.

Many of the critiques revolved around Beyoncé getting a reminder that she told her fans to quit their jobs in the lyrics to her song “Break My Soul” which was released in 2022.

“Beyoncé better price those tickets like someone who told people to quit their jobs last July,” one person tweeted while another said, “how am i supposed to afford these renaissance tickets when beyoncé told me to quit my job.. so i did..”

Someone else tweeted: “This woman is on the TL trying to decide between a new stroller and Beyonce tickets Girl make the baby walk!!!”

According to a statement from Ticketmaster, Beyoncé is unleashing a new system to help fans access tickets quicker without bots ruining their chances.

“Beyoncé is distributing tickets in three different Verified Fan sales: BeyHive Presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan; Citi Presale powered by Verified Fan and the General Verified Fan Onsale,” Ticketmaster said on its site.

Beyoncé kicked off Black History Month by announcing the Renaissance World Tour in support of her seventh album of the same name. The worldwide trek begins overseas in Sweden on May 10, with subsequent European stops in the UK, France, Spain, Netherlands, Poland and Germany.

Bey will then return to North America in July for back-to-back shows in Toronto. From there, Mrs. Carter will bring her legendary stage presence to arenas across the U.S., including in Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and her hometown of Houston.

The four-month tour, which is produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation, wraps up in New Orleans on September 27.
